The 3M Scotch-Brite 03760 Clean and Finish Roll provides consistent results for finishing, blending, polishing and cleaning on a variety of metals, wood, plastic surfaces as well as hard to reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length.
3M Scotch Brite abrasive rolls are manufactured with a choice of silicon carbide, aluminum oxide or talc as the abrasive mineral. Silicon carbide is a sharp, synthetic mineral commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing. Aluminum oxide is a hard, blocky mineral that offers a high cutting rate and long life. Although silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a finer finish. Talc is a soft abrasive that can be used to achieve a satin finish or with a polish to create a high-gloss finish in topcoat rubbing applications.
Scotch-Brite™ rollers are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives embedded in a non-woven fiber matrix. The combination of abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the life of the product. The non-woven material operates cold and resists loading, allowing the abrasive minerals to cut at high performance with minimal fiber clogging.
