3M 69 Electrical Tape is a white glass cloth tape with a high temperature thermosetting silicone pre ssure sensitive adhesive. It is designed for use in 600 volt motors and transformers in dry environm ents, with or without a varnish coating. Its main features, such as high mechanical strength and hig h temperature resistance, provide excellent performance. The thermosetting adhesive offers increased adhesion when applied in high ambient temperature areas. Thermosetting adhesive offers high tempera ture performance up to 200°C. This tape provides solvent resistant insulation and protection for use as a reel cover, anchor, tape and insulation for core, layers and crossovers. This tape has a non-c orrosive adhesive. It is conformable, printable and flame retardant.
