3M 5453 glass cloth tape has a brown glass cloth backing impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethyl ene). This tape provides a smooth surface for processing machines and has an extremely low coefficie nt of friction which, combined with a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive, creates a non-stick surf ace that works at high temperatures. Resistant to most chemicals, this tape provides a fast and dura ble solution to reduce build-up on packaging and heat sealing machines.
