3M 5490 PTFE Film Tape utilizes an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing, providing a n extremely low coefficient of friction that, when combined with a silicone pressure sensitive adhes ive, creates a smooth, non-stick surface on a variety of substrates to help move materials in many t ypes of flatbed applications. PTFE is chemically resistant and can be used as a temporary chemical b arrier. PTFE has a wide operating temperature range, from -54°C to 260°C, making it suitable for a v ariety of applications.
