HOW TO STORE AND PROCESS YOUR LABEL ROLLS
Layout, temperature and humidity
- Place the rolls flat, one on top of the other, perfectly stacked: the rolls must never be placed on their side.
- Ideal storage conditions: maximum 20°C and 50% relative humidity to avoid curling.
- For labels with fluid adhesive: choose a cool place, 10°C to 18°C, without condensation, and wrap the labels in a plastic bag.
- Protect rolls from direct sunlight.
- Store unused label rolls in their sealed packaging.
- Store used label rolls in plastic bags.
Use
- Apply the FIFO rule: first come, first go.
- Ideally, labels should be used within two years of manufacture.
- Remove the rolls carefully from their packaging to avoid telescoping.
- To maintain flexibility, avoid tightening the reel.
- Remove dust, grease, oil or traces of old labels with solvent. Do not use any wax or silicone based agents.
- Avoid too much contact between the adhesive and the fingers.
- Under ideal storage conditions, wait 24 hours before testing the labels for tear-off or strength.
Si la température dans votre lieu de production et dans votre entrepôt sont différentes : permettre aux étiquettes de s’acclimater dans leur packaging fermé.
