The 3M Comply 1322 tape is a water vapour exposure indicator tape. It comes in the form of an adhesi ve crepe paper printed with an indicator ink diagonally across. The ink gradually turns dark brown d uring an autoclave sterilization cycle. This tape is used to seal the sterilization packs and to dif ferentiate between sterilized and non-sterilized batches. It does not, however, provide certainty as to the sterility of the batches. It can also be used on non-woven synthetics. It is not suitable fo r use in ethylene oxide or dry heat sterilization cycles.
