3M™ scotch-weld 1099 nitrile adhesive is an ultra fast adhesive with excellent resistance to plasticizers. Air cured, resistant to outdoor conditions, water, oils and many solvents.
3M™ scotch-weld 1099 nitrile glue adheres to a wide variety of substrates (leather, vinyl tarps, allows for furniture upholstery, faux leather, etc.) and also adheres to plastics for a strong, durable bond.
With 3M™ scotch-weld 1099 nitrile adhesive, you can quickly meet the demands of your bonding application. This fast-drying adhesive forms a permanent bond at room temperature. Its bonding strength increases at higher temperatures.
Application of 3M™ scotch--weld 1099 nitrile adhesive is very simple. It can be brushed on with a brush or can be sprayed on with industrial grade spray equipment for consistent and comfortable large scale applications.
Good adhesive coverage is achieved when 80% or more of the surface is covered. Some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional layer. To apply more adhesive, simply wait until the first layer of adhesive is dry to the touch and then apply the additional layer.
