The 3M 92 polyimide electrical tape has an excellent temperature resistance. It is available in ambe r colour. It is a product for electrical insulation and masking that can withstand high temperatures up to 180°C continuous and 265°C peak. It has high mechanical and thermal stability even when used in harsh environments. It has a low outgassing rate. It is thermosetting and its resistance to weldi ng is also perfect. It does not soften and remains dimensionally stable. When it burns, it does not carbonize. It meets the requirements of the UL 510 standard. Thin but strong, this tape has incredib le strength and can therefore be used in some applications in the electronics industry. When removed , it leaves no residue.
