Etilux comes forward to the project of the Arcotec’s NPO, a protected workshop located in Bruges.

Active since 1966 in the field of production and subcontracting of higher quality products, Arcotec wanted to dispose of an automated management of its logistical flows (real time)

The proposed and adopted solution combines the RFID technology as well as a geolocation system. Thanks to sensors located in the whole storehouse as well as on forklifts, it is possible to record all the incoming and outgoing products, to identify them and to supervise their movements. This system, interacting with the ERP system of the company, allows the staff to be informed on actions and tasks to undertake in the logistical flow. Satisfied by this modern development, yet suitable for the staff, Arcotec plans to extend this system to another storehouse, specialized in metallic wire rolls… to be continued
